Adagio Raspberry Green

Aroma

A lovely berry aroma concocted with grassy green tea.

Tasting Notes

Everything about this green blend is animated; the aroma is sharp, the colour is vibrant and the flavour is tangy. The strength of the raspberry flavour itself is a tad more neutral than the smell, however your taste buds will still receive that sharp transmission that raspberries usually provide. The raspberry elements provide, not only a tangy taste, but also a medicinal quality. Raspberry leaves are high in magnesium, potassium and also contain iron, vitamins B and C, making it a super little drink for anti-inflammation of oral issues, such as sore throats and gums. Green tea is also good for your health, containing a ton of antioxidants! Check out my green tea post to find out more about the health benefits of green tea.

Embellishments

Sweet: This tea is definitely about preference when it comes to sweetener. Sugar accentuates the sharp, tangy flavours, making the drink slightly sour. On the other hand, honey tones down the raspberry, bringing out a grassier, organic flavour.
Iced: I can’t express enough how much I enjoyed this iced! It becomes so unbelievably refreshing and moreish. Here's a cheeky hint too: Add some mint leaves for a super rejuvenating and hydrating tea. This is definitely a go to drink in the summer!

Final Thoughts

This is a great little tea for a boost in every single way! A boost in the morning, a boost in the winter, a boost when you have a cold, a boost in the summer heat! It seems this tea is delightful, robust and useful at all times. Perfect for those who love fruity, sharp flavours.
