Chocolate Mint Rooibos - The Tea Guys

The first taste is mint: mint in the foretaste, mint in the aftertaste, mint, mint, mint. But as the taste buds adjust, throughout each sip, along comes a subtle complexity, showing that this blend is beautifully crafted. You will notice creamy chocolate notes, lasting into the long mint finish, which contains just a hint of honeyed rooibos. Mint is really versatile, serving to awaken in the morning yet relax at night, and as Rooibos is caffeine free the blend makes a perfect sweet treat before bed time. You could even use it as an after dinner liquid sweet, swapping it with your usual dessert to avoid the calories!

As the blend is already quite sweet and creamy there's no need to add anything to it and it STILL taste amazing! In fact by adding something you’re probably just ruining the intricate craft of the blend. However, The Tea Guys do have an latte recipe for this blend featured on their website.

Serves 1:

3 tsp. tea, 1 cup water, ½ cup steamed milk, ½ tsp. sugar or condensed milk.

Steep tea in water and add to steamed milk.

Final Thoughts

I, without a doubt, fell head over heels in love with The Tea Guys Chocolate Mint Rooibos blend. From the first wiff that escaped the packet, I was sold. This tea had a place in my heart. It’s super tasty, incredibly relaxing, perfect for those avoiding caffeine and is, mostly, a guilt free treat! Once you’ve tried it, I promise you won’t want anything else.
